1. You
can only vote one time.

All information
you provide on the
petition signing form will be public on the petition signatures page,
except your email address,
for which privacy is set here.
Your email address is
stored in a secure private location, for signature validation only.
Be sure to type your email address correct.
We already received back several entries with wrong email addresses.
We ask these people to vote again.
IMPORTANT:
Before you send in your vote, check your mailbox and be sure it isn't
full...

mailboxes in time...
3.
Signing the petition is a two-step process.
* Enter your personal info, your email address and your comments, and click
the button to send in your vote.
* Check your mailbox: you will receive a
high priority email from 'Petition Online'.
Make sure to look in your
junk mail folder too, in case your email
program diverts it there.
Open the email and
click on the link provided: this will confirm your signature.
As soon as your contribution has been checked, you'll receive an
email with your entry number.
These steps are necessary to prevent other people can vote with your email
address!
4.
If your have problems with confirming,
because the link in the confirmation mail doesn't appear as a workable link, please do the following:
* Copy and paste the link in
the url of your browser.
* If this doesn't work: resend the COMPLETE email. Your
entry is in the Petition in the next few hours.
5. If
you don't receive the confirmation email from
Petition Online within a few minutes:
* you probably entered a
wrong email address...
* your mail box is full...
* the email is probably in your spam mail folder...

6. The comments you provide are
optional.
We recommend to write them in English, as they probably
don't understand any foreign languages at the
Foundation’s nominating committee. Once
you have voted, your comments can not be changed any more.
7. The comments in the petition will be checked frequently
by several people in the world.
Of course, we don't allow bad
comments, they will be reported.
